There’s a good number of us who’ve spent the last several weeks developing a new web site for TrustMe Security. Within TrustMe there is a spirit of collaboration that we felt was missing from our online presence. So we set our goals for our new site quite high. We want to provide you with a one stop web site that answers any questions you may have about TrustMe Security or secure email technology.
Our site will tell you why secure email is so important and provide everyone with free solutions for home and cost effective solutions for your business. We’ve striven to make the site easy to use for everyone, IT experts and great-grandmothers included - after all both groups need secure email.
Please explore the rest of this site and come back often. We’re not finished yet. Over the next year we’ll be adding new sections, more content and other exciting features to help you get everything you need from this site. If you have any questions or comments we’d love to hear them! Contact us using our online form or add a comment to this, or any other post, by clicking “Speak Up”.
Have a safe and secure new year and all the best for 2008.

Attachment packager
- A major new feature has been added to address the problems that can arise when sending very large files through email systems. When the combined size of all the files you attach to a TrustMe message exceeds 5 MB, the files are delivered separately from the message itself, avoiding the problems that can occur with large email messages. The attachment package is uploaded to a TrustMe server and made available for download by recipients of the email message to which it is linked.
- When you receive such a message, you can immediately download the large attachment in much the same way that you can save a smaller attachment that was included with an email message.
- A new vault manager has been added to allow you to view and manage the attachment packages that you have previously sent.
- Please consult the online help file (in the Extra Features section) for a more complete description and detailed instructions on use of this feature.

Invitations
- When sending invitations your name is in the field. No longer will it say “Secure Email Invitation”. (Thanks Glenn)
Password Handling
- You can now change your password.
- You can update your security question (and answer).
- You can recover a forgotten password as long as you can remember (or recognize) your security answer. This feature has two modesof operation. In “Safe and Secure” mode, you need only be able to recognize the answer to the security question you selected in amongst a list of other possible answer. In “Super Secure” mode you must remember the answer to your security question in order to reset your password. The advantage in this mode is that not even the SPN administrators cannot access your emergency recovery keys.
- These features are controlled through the “Password Options” tab of the preferences panel (select Tools -> Options from the menu).
